Stafford Town Ladies are running a 6week block of girls only football sessions for 5-11year olds, Running at Stafford Sports College and only £1 per week. Any questions please ring Jules on 07966 089992
August 2009
Stafford Town coaches are currently coaching in Great Haywood as part of the FA's project to get more kids to play football.
8-16year old girls and boys can turn up and get quality coaching from Town's coaches and play football in their local area.
Sessions are on 5-7pm at Anson Primary School on Thursdays.
February 2009
Stafford Town Coaches have been working with Sports Unlimited, Stafford Borough Council and the School Sports Partnership to get more girls into football.
Stafford Sports College, Weston Road, Sir Graham Balfour High School, Christchurch Middle and Walton Priory all were given free sessions for girls from 8-15year olds.
Lots of girls attended either at lunch or during after school sessions and a Tournament was held after the 10 week block of coaching.
July 2008
Girls football coach Jules Kendrick has been running sessions in local Primary Schools to get more girls into football.
Silkmore, Flash Ley,Barnfields, John Wheeldon and Oakridge Primary School all were given free coaching in after school clubs once a week for a term each.
From these sessions we are able to start a new under 10 team for the up and coming season.
