Stafford Town Panthers U10s 8 Stafford Juniors 0. After a slow start Panthers started to dominate the game with some excellent flowing football. Goals from George Hassal (1), Ethan Sherriff (1) and Matthew Beedell (2) saw panthers take a 4 - 0 lead at half time. Panthers continued to play good football with some fine keeping and defensive work. A second half hatrick for Ethan Sherriff and a brilliant passing move finished off by Joseph Tait saw panthers progress to the next round of the League Shield, winning 8 - 0. Man of the match - Ethan Sherriff Stafford Town Panthers U10s 3 Stafford Rangers 2 Another excellent performance by panthers saw them take the three points in an exciting game. Panthers took a two nil lead in the first half with goals from Sam Hough and Brandon Hart. In the second half Rangers got a fortunate goal followed by an excellent header to level the scores. Panthers persisted and were rewarded when Dominic Key ran on to a through ball to head past the keeper and win the game. Man of the match. Sam Hough had an excellent game at the centre of defence leading by example and scoring a great goal. Stafford Juniors 2 Stafford Town Panthers U10s 5 A well composed and disciplined first half saw panthers take a two nil lead at half time with goals from Matthew Beedell and Ethan Sherriff. The second half was more of a scrappy affair with panthers scoring through Ethan Brown before juniors scored twice. Panthers then took control in the later stages with two more goals from Ethan Sherriff and Matthew Beedell. Man of the match. Joseph Tait: An excellent performance both in midfield and in defence. Stafford Town Panthers U10’s 4 Penkridge Juniors 0 An excellent performance from panthers saw them dominate from start to finish. Some great passing moves gave them a two goal advantage at half time. More great moves from panthers in the second half gave them a well deserved 4 - 0 win. Goal scorers were George Hassal, Ethen Sherriff, Joseph Tate and Dominic Key. Man of the match - George Hassal. A great first half performance in midfield followed by an impressive second half in defence. Stafford Town Panthers U10`S 2 Eccleshall Eagles 2. Panther’s first game of the season saw them go two down early in the game, eagles scoring two excellent goals. Once panthers had settled they created good opportunities before Dominic Key pounced to score our first goal. In the second half panthers had several chances before Matthew Beedell scored the equaliser. Panthers had two great chances at the end but failed to score the winner. A great first game of the season. Man of the match: Greg Gordon - made two great saves early in the first half and one excellent save towards the end of the game.
